Normally it’s the yearly unfreezing of Mariah Carrey that reminds me the holidays are fast approaching, but this year I was thinking about winter festivities even before the Cubs got eliminated.
If you had told me that the post office was older than the United States of America at a dinner party, I would have nodded politely and excused myself as I frantically fact checked your claim. But thankfully I was given the opportunity to work on their 250th Anniversary campaign, so now I’m that guy at the dinner party.
Playboy Germany ran a contest, essentially asking for companies to submit work to congratulate them on their 45th year.
This ran on behalf of VW and it’s officially my first piece of work in the world.
For my non-German speaking friends, the copy (roughly) states:
"Because you should know what is happening all around you.
The new Golf with "Blind Spot" sensor congratulates you on 45 years."
Ahh, Germany. What a weird time.
Good time. But a weird time.
